Le Prado

B20: Training in a different way

The Prado is a Lyon-based association, founded in 1860, dedicated to accompanying children and young people who are mistreated by life. The aim is to protect them, accompany them towards the best possible autonomy and help them to find a dignified place in society.

Supported by Le Prado and Les clés de l'Atelier (a building training organisation), the "B2O - se formation autrement" programme aims to promote the professional integration of the most fragile young people, in particular those from Child Protection.

B2O is an accessible and rewarding professional training based on a flexible course of 4 CCP (Certificats de Compétence Professionnelle) carried out by groups of 6 to 8 young people within a mixed group composed of 50% adults undergoing professional reconversion.

Associated with a very concrete and individualized pedagogy, this support allows the young people to learn a trade, to discover/understand the codes of the business world and to reintegrate into society at their own pace.

Julie Biasion, national account manager in Lyon, discovered the Le Prado association in October 2018 and was particularly sensitive to their action in favour of young people in social and family difficulties. In addition to financial support, Julie wants to build bridges between Accor and Le Prado through this association:

- visits to hotels and job discoveries
- internships in hotel maintenance departments
- the possibility to participate in calls for tender and to have a training camp
