« Web@cadémie »: training and insertion of young people in difficulty in web development and integration.
Zup De Co is a French association founded in 2005 to combat the drop-out phenomenon and help young people with difficulties to find jobs.
Zup De Co set up the “Web@cadémie” project in 2010, an alternative educational scheme, to teach “web development” to young drop-outs between the ages of 18 and 25. The project makes a contribution to combating social exclusion and unemployment among out of-school youth. The training is realized with Epitech, an IT school.
The Accor Foundation* supported the training of 50 young people in 2012-2013.
* In 2013, the Accor Foundation became Solidarity Accor.
«“The Web@cadémie is a project that offers opportunities to young people excluded from school, and gives companies the chance to hire the talented young people they need. The training offered is targets those industries that are actually recruiting. That’s why I found this project so interesting - it’s so constructive!»
