The Mentoring Resource Pool: mentoring of young people in difficulty for their professional insertion.

Urban Synergy aims to support young people from immigrant backgrounds (Africa and the West Indies) through mentoring: individual and weekly support focused on motivation, encouragement and ambition.

The NGO develops a mentoring program to support young from London’s outlying districts. For one year, young people are mentored by a professional and attend a program focused on four directions: sharing experience with the sponsor; organized trips (trips to companies, police stations…), seminars putting young people in contact with professionals from various fields (media, legal…) and integrating young people in companies. AccorHotels UK employees are mentors of young people.

The Accor Foundation* supported this program in 2009 with the mentoring of 1,000 young people.

* In 2013, the Accor Foundation became Solidarity Accor.
