Training of single women in extremely precarious situations in creation of candles.

SOS Villages d’Enfants Maroc, which was created in 1985, provides care and support for children without family support until their independence and assists highly vulnerable families.

In 2009, the organization opened a human development centre to welcome and train women with the creation of five professional training workshops: sewing, glasswork, candle-making, cookery and baking & pastry-making.

The Accor Foundation* supported the training of 80 women in difficulty in the candle and glasswork-making workshops during 2 years.

* In 2013, the Accor Foundation became Solidarity Accor.

I have a very strong link with SOS Villages through its partnership with the AccorHotels group in Morocco. We have been supported the NGO since 2003 and I am personally involved in the following up with the project.
