"Streets to Success": guiding 25 extremely vulnerable people towards employment
Based in London, The Springboard Charity, an English structure founded in 1990, aims to educate young people under 25 in difficulty. The NGO works to reduce unemployment and poverty as well as fight social inequality among young people.
On 12 June 2016, the teams of three Novotels in London (Novotel London West, Novotel London Paddington and Novotel London Blackfriars) ran the 5 km of the Color Run for the NGO and raised funds to give a charitable dimension to this sporting challenge!
The commitment of the employees, supported by Solidarity AccorHotels, helped set up the "Streets to Success" vocational training programme, dedicated to the young homeless or those running a high risk of losing their homes.
Employees, athletes, youth people in difficulty... Everyone contributes to the success of the operation!
We have been committed for many years with Springboard and we wanted to reinforce our involvement towards the community by giving the opportunity of a new start to young people at risk of becoming homeless.
