« Aventure Solid’Air »: Support and train underprivileged young people with a loss of bearings

Raid Aventure Organisation was created in 1992. This association’s objective is to create and make youth on the fringes of society participate in sporting and cultural events and thus to support them in their social and professional integration.

Each year since 2008, the association has been supporting, for 8 months out of school time, young people in difficulty through a sporting, educational and cultural program “Aventure Solid’Air”. Through this program, the association wishes to promote their awareness of simple values such as teamwork, surpassing oneself, self-confidence as well as confidence in the adult… This program is also aimed at fighting against school failure and school absenteeism.

In 2012, the Accor Foundation* supported this project with the purchase of various equipment (flippers, diving bottles, games, tents, sleeping bags…) for 300 young people.

* In 2013, the Accor Foundation became Solidarity Accor.

Our environment does not necessarily allow all of us to take the right direction from the start. The Raid Adventure association gives these youngsters, often coming from disadvantaged communities, the chance to get back on the right track.
