Training and professional insertion program for street young people.

Graines de Bitume, association founded in 2000, helps street children in Antananarivo back to school and find jobs for them. The organization runs 2 day centers with children and young people (3 to 22 years old) in difficult situations, and gives them access to basic needs such as food, healthcare, hygiene and education.

Since 2000, Graines de Bitume has run the “Professional Project” to help street children build a future for themselves. Each year this program helps some fifty young people learn a trade of their choice and find a job. In 2013 Graines de Bitume decided to boost the final phase of the “Professional Project” program by setting up an “Employment Bureau” to assist all street children or young people from deprived areas in finding professional employment.

In 2013, Solidarity Accor' support made it possible to assist 50 street children through the "Professional project”, and create the "Bureau pour l'Emploi" job center, the sole structure of its kind in Antananarivo. In 2014, Solidarity Accor supported the training and professional insertion of 65 new young people.
