Training and professional insertion program for street young people in hospitality industry.
Fondation Parada, set up in 1996, ensures comprehensive and stable social integration of street children and teenagers facing exclusion.
Since 2009, AccorHotels Romania and the NGO manage a training and insertion program for street young people in hospitality industry. This project aims to increase this young people’s chances of integration and provide them with the practical tools and skills needed to find a job. They benefit from a theoretical training (work on CVs and cover letters, interviews…), from an immersion phase in a company (in Novotel, Pullman and ibis in Bucharest) and from a Job search support phase.
Solidarity Accor supported the pilot program in 2010 to train 24 youngsters. Its support was then renewed in 2011 and 2012 for the training of a further 60 young people.
In 2014, Solidarity Accor continues its commitment in favour of 40 extremely vulnerable youths.
« A very rewarding experience at both professional and personal level, this is the conclusion I made after the first part of the project finished. I was very happy seeing that we can help people to change their life in a better way. Personally, this experience helps me to appreciate more my life. »
