Professional training for young people in difficulty around the recycling of IT hardware.
Fara Frontiere Romania is a non-profit organization whose aim is to foster the social and professional integration of young adults excluded from mainstream society.
Since May 2009, it has been running a social integration through work project. The workshop is a production unit specializing in testing, disassembly and recycling of IT hardware. During 1 year, the young people are “reintegrated employees” and acquire skills and practical experience in the kind of jobs where there are promising outlets: recycling and IT installation and maintenance.
The Accor Foundation* supported the training of young people in precarious situation in 2010.
* In 2013, the Accor Foundation became Solidarity Accor.
