On the occasion of the International Women's Day, meet Hafidha Sahal and discover the wonderful story of this beneficiary of a project supported by Solidarity AccorHotels.

For the first time, the corporate foundations of Air France, Chanel, Elle, Kering, Orange, Raja-Danièle Marcovici, Sanofi Espoir, Sisley-d'Ornano and the Solidarity AccorHotels endowment fund have joined forces around one and the same cause - women - showcasing strong values of solidarity and commitment. This joint project, "We Are Women", is a set of 11 short videos that will take you from Nicaragua to China through France and the United States!

To celebrate March 8, International Women's Day, Elle magazine Foundation has set up this original concept, spotlighting the stories of 11 women whose emancipation is a victory. These touching portraits, retracing the exemplary path of women who have been excluded, abused or marginalized, reveal the importance of the work carried out throughout the year by the charities supported by corporate foundations. Filmed by Director Nils Tavernier in an intimate setting, these women recount how they managed, with true courage, to use the violence as fuel to bounce back and transform their pain into success.

Hafidha Sahal is one of them, and is currently following the "Des Etoiles et des Femmes" training programme of La Table de Cana in Marseille. This project, supported by Solidarity AccorHotels, enables twelve women from the city's north districts to receive high-end catering professional training. Hafidha is currently an intern in the kitchens of the Sofitel Marseille Vieux Port under Chef Dominique Frérad. She speaks about her tough life story and describes, with emotion and clear-sightedness, how this training programme has truly changed in her life.
