Solidarity AccorHotels publishes its Annual Report 2016

In his introduction to the latest Solidarity AccorHotels annual report, Solidarity AccorHotels Chairman Sébastien Bazin reminds his readers that: "Our commitment to those around us is legitimate, understood and desired".

So it is with the desire to "Act, wherever we are" and work as closely as possible with local communities that the initiatives delivered at local level by AccorHotels teams to support non-profit organisations and NGOs are considered and prepared right around the world. This impressive commitment, which has involved more than 20,000 members of staff since 2008, directly reflects the ambition of the endowment fund: to prevent the social and employment exclusion of people in challenging circumstances living in the communities around the Group's hotels.

Proud of the initiatives implemented in 2016, we now want to share this annual report with all of you: readers, stakeholders and partners. As you read, you will discover how our endowment fund works, see behind the scenes of twenty projects led by our partner non-profit organisations, NGOs and local AccorHotels teams, as well as our proactive policy of attracting as many people as possible to support our cause by hosting events, collecting funds, community service, co-construction and the input of expertise... all of these are shared with you in this report.

In 2016, Solidarity AccorHotels was able to support 34 new projects thanks to the personal involvement of more than 5,000 members of staff in 19 countries. Our congratulations to you all – employees, charities and partners – and our warmest thanks for your commitment to working with us! We look forward to meeting you in 2018 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Solidarity AccorHotels together. Next year will be a year of commitment and solidarity!
