Solidarity AccorHotels Board of Directors, the highlight of the year!
On Friday, June 3rd, 2016, the Board of Directors of Solidarity AccorHotels met, chaired by Sébastien Bazin, AccorHotels Group Chairman and CEO, and Chairman of the Board.
A highlight of the year for Solidarity AccorHotels, this first gathering in 2016 provided the opportunity to examine the progress of the actions carried out over 6 months, to discuss and consider the challenges still to come and to vote for 4 new projects.
Analysis of 6 months of commitment
This meeting gave Solidarity AccorHotels a chance to analyse the key actions undertaken since the beginning of the year. Two selection committees chose to give support to 9 new projects promoting training and professional insertion in 8 different countries. Solidarity moves, check hand-overs, fund-raising operations, shooting of a short film on the International Women's Day: these are some of the varied solidarity actions that have enlivened these first semester.
New challenges for the year
But this meeting also enabled the directors to discuss and consider the upcoming challenges in order to establish a precise plan of action on which to grow and develop the AccorHotels solidarity actions. The agenda covered topics such as fund-raising, strategic guidelines for the Fund, communication operations or the involvement of Group employees, and a list of actions was set up.
Unveiling the projects voted by the Board of Directors...
Last but not least, here are four solidarity initiatives, in which the Group's employees in Romania, France, Burma and Thailand are involved, that have caught the Board's eye.
