Official ceremony for the Accor Foundation’s contribution

On March 21, 2011, Mission Locale de Limoges has received a donation of €41,000 from the Accor Foundation to promote the training and insertion of young people in difficulty thanks to mentoring and workshops p@rés à l’emploi.

Proposed by Daniel Cunin (General Manager Novotel Limoges le Lac), the “Mentoring and workshops p@rés à l’emploi” belongs to Training and insertion category.

The objective of this project is to continue the mentoring program for young job seekers already established in 2009. The second edition of this project also plans the setting up of “P@rés pour l’emploi” workshops in France, run by mentors and a specialised facilitator. These workshops have been designed to improve job-seeking methods by using the Internet, to perfect job interview techniques by practising with mentors and to teach job seekers how to present their experience and skills to their best advantage.

Missions Locales are local government branches with a mandate to help 16- to 25-year-old job seekers. The 486 branches in the network across France also help youths to cope with difficulties accessing healthcare, housing…
