Mexico: a week-end on the field for Accor employees
On 9 and 10 April 2011, Accor Mexico’s employees were on the site of the association Un Techo para mi País to help build the Community Centre in Los Hornos, a shanty town close to Mexico.
News of a project approved for its 3rd edition by the Board of Directors on 14 February 2011.

The weekend of 9 and 10 April 2011 was full of emotion for the residents of Los Hornos.
20 Accor Mexico employees, the Un Techo team and the villagers (and many children) worked on the Community Centre’s construction site.
The local population was overflowing with enthusiasm in the presence of so many volunteers. The Accor employees will train the community for new skills after the Center’s construction : pastry-making classes… Doña Vicky, the community’s spokesperson, was very grateful to the Un Techo team and Accor’s employees.
For Jean-Philippe Claret, Vice-President of Operations and Development, Accor Mexico, this action is an enduring memory: “Another great moment for us all!” he says.
