London-Paris by bike: Pullman London St Pancras employees rise to the challenge for the Springboard Charity!

Between 18 and 20 September 2014, 50 employees accepted the challenge of riding a bike over the 350 km separating the Pullman London St Pancras and the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel hotels.

The aim of this challenge was to raise funds for the Springboard Charity that Solidarity Accor has supported since 2012.

Before expending so much energy, like true professionals the 50 cyclists gathered in the morning of 18 September to share a full, balanced breakfast to get these 3 intensive days off to a good star

The challenge was successful!

On Saturday, September 20 at 1 p.m. the first cyclist proudly crossed the finish line at the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel! In total the cyclists managed to collect 35,000 pounds (44,000 euros) for the projects carried out by the Springboard Charity. Of these, 6,000 pounds (7,500 euros) will be allocated to the programme "Avenir dans l’hôtellerie" (A future in hospitality) supported by Solidarity Accor and sponsored by Philip Addison, HRM Accor United Kingdom -Ireland.
