Le Club Accorhotels makes a commitment in favour of Solidarity Accor


Le Club Accorhotels Members can now contribute to our solidarity actions with their points! This new commitment by Le Club Accorhotels beside Solidarity Accor provides loyalty card-holders with a wonderful opportunity.


In addition to more commercial benefits such as free nights, gifts, advantages, etc., card holders can now make a make a meaningful donation.

The funds collected (2,000 points = €40 donated to Solidarity Accor) will be devoted to post emergency reconstruction, one of the key areas where our endowment fund is applied. In effect, during humanitarian or health disasters, Solidarity Accor stands by local communities to help them rebuild devastated living spaces. The choice of recipient NGOs is made locally by the hotel staff present in the affected area.

This operation is not the first time Le Club Accorhotels has supported Solidarity Accor: already last October, 10,000 euros had been donated to the endowment fund following the success of the "Selfies" operation launched to celebrate the new generosity of the Group's hotel loyalty programme.

This generosity shared by the Accor teams and the clients is the living embodiment of hospitality without borders.

How do these actions in favour of Solidarity Accor fit in with the Group of customer relations and loyalty strategy?

Le Club Accorhotels must convey the Group's strategy to the members. It was therefore reasonable, in the framework of the programme Burn offer*, to call on the generosity of those who wished to make a contribution to the funds collected for Solidarity Accor.

Are we inviting card-holders to make a gesture for solidarity because that is the trend?

For us it is not a trend: it is the Group's policy to support solidarity actions in the countries in which it is based, and the loyalty programme contributes, like the hotels, to the practical implementation of this policy.

How will this action be maintained throughout the year in the global programme?

The first brick in the operation was actually to set up the partnership, in order to open the channel for members to donate their points to Solidarity Accor. We will work to develop this partnership with the members, for instance by communicating regularly on the actions undertaken with their donations.And of course, should there be a disaster, asking Le Club Accorhotels members for donations may be one of the first actions that Solidarity Accor can take.
