Four new projects supported in France, Africa and Asia!
On Tuesday 18th February 2014, the Solidarity Accor selection committee voted to support four new projects in favour of professional insertion of the disadvantaged.
One new geographical location, one new charity and two repeat projects! The Selection Committee members voted for the following four projects:
- Essor in Chad: Athanase Souana, Operations Director for the Novotel N’Djamena La Tchadienne hotel, sponsors the development of the "Jeun’Action" programme supporting socially vulnerable young people towards professional insertion. Find out more about this project.
- ANPHI in France: at the request of ibis Human Resources project manager, Isabelle Joly, the project supported by ANPHI aims to train people suffering from mental illness in radio communication techniques. Find out more about this project.
- EnVol in France: renewed support for the charity following the success of the training programme set up in 2010. In 2014, Solidarity Accor will help develop a new programme specifically devoted to the professional insertion of illiterate youngsters. Find out more about this project.
- Hope Foundation in India: building on the ties developed between the charity and Accor employees, support was also renewed for the Hope Foundation NGO. In 2012, Solidarity Accor funded the creation of a training centre for young people from the leper colonies; in 2014, Solidarity Accor will support a second group of trainees.
