Floods in Thailand: the Accor Foundation gives financial support

Intervention in Thailand. Alongside the NGO Yim Kids, the Accor Foundation is mobilizing to help employees’ families victims of floods.

Yim Kids is a Thai NGO established by Accor employees in 2005 to support all social initiatives in the country aimed at underprivileged communities where Group’s employees live.

For several weeks, Thailand is facing a rising water of historic proportions, affecting much of the country. The Accor Foundation has donated €50,000 to the NGO Yim Kids to assist rebuilding of communities affected by the floods (houses’ reconstruction, purchase of equipment…) in the central plain of Bangkok. Needs were estimated at €200,000. The Foundation set up therefore a system involving the Thai government, Accor Thailand, country headquarters (Accor China…), and Accor hotels and employees worldwide.

Recall that the NGO Yim Kids, supported by Accor Thailand, has already set up a special fund to help the floods’ victims and enable them to get back to a normal situation. You can take part in this generosity by giving directly via the link below:
