Cambodia: Pour un Sourire d’Enfant opens a training shop

On 14 January this year, the charity Pour un Sourire d’Enfant (PSE) officially opened a training Souvenir Shop in Phnom Penh for young people trained in management and sales. Solidarity Accor supported this project in 2013 at the request of Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra General Manager Charles-Henri Chevet.

The many highlights of the official opening ceremony included: the cutting of the ribbon by Charles-Henri Chevet, PSE Program Director for Cambodia Sarapich Pin, and Eléonore Iriart, Head of the Management School, followed by the unveiling of a plaque symbolising the bond between the charity and the Accor Group, and lastly, a tour of the shop to give the many students present their first opportunity to sell!

The event was videoed by young people who are benefiting from the charity by receiving training in audiovisual media.
