A major boost for the employment of young people

As is well-known, Solidarity Accor and the Group's employees support the insertion of disadvantaged youngsters. On June 22nd, 2015, the Group's endowment Fund handed over a cheque for 10,000 euros to the French charity Dynamique Emploi at its General Assembly. This wonderful gesture will help many resourceful young people.

"Facilitating the employment of youth" is one of the flagship programs of the Dynamique Emploi charity. This project supports 150 young people experiencing insertion difficulties in Essonne, a French department where the outlook for 16-to-25-year-olds is particularly gloomy. Indeed, over 26% of them are job seekers.

Solidarity Accor fully supports this excellent initiative. What is its aim? To help launch an interactive platform linking jobs seekers with recruiters. This programme has an undeniable advantage in that it offers a true understanding of the employment market, thanks to numerous electronic courses as well as coaching sessions to prepare candidates for job interviews.

Last June 22nd, Solidarity Accor sealed its commitment to Dynamique Emploi through a cheque, handed by Christine de Longevialle, General Delegate of Solidarity Accor, Laurent Le Clair, HotelInvest France Director of hospitality accounting, and Eveline Berdier, HotelInvest France General Management Assistant, as well as the signing of the partnership agreement with the local elected officials present. A "partners" round table was also held that day. It allowed Laurent Le Clair to present AccorHotels's commitment to the insertion of the young people of Evry, Christine de Longevialle to present Solidarity Accor to the participants and outline its reasons for supporting this cause, and Eveline Berdier, project sponsor, to explain her motivation for getting involved in this project.
